Araceli’s Denver Fashion Picks: Inspiring Expressions from Blu

I’m back this week with inspiring expressions of fashion from Blu, one of Cherry Creek’s leading boutiques. Owner Tara Weydert has been dressing her clientele for the last two years with classic lines, stylish jewelry, and some of the best customer service to be found.

“Bohemian Rhapsody”

Why are we drawn to the Bohemian? Because it’s unconventional, artistic, whimsical—fashionable, all the while not caring a whip for fashion. How do you master this look? This charcoal twill cotton jumper from American Vintage and tie-dye scarf are just the right touch of artistic self-expression. This care-free Bohemian look finds its roots in the modern with uncharacteristically unpredictable accessories—note the pop of that orange leather tote! This Woodstock inspired look is fantastic for a casual late-summer day. An ivory silk tunic with beige embroidery designs around your neck and sleeves, gives you a soft, feminine look. And the reversible beige-chocolate A-line skirt with gathered panels defines your waist, but at the same time, it’s loose enough to fit the breezy guidelines for the end of summer. To compliment this sophisticated look, I added a necklace with multiple chains (wrapped around my wrist to look like a bracelet). These open-toed wedges are a perfect match for the understated elegance of this look.
