Introducing Denver’s Fashion Week

Is Colorado fashion more than just Western clothing?  Shaunie Cobb, CEO of BlackWhite Design Companies says resoundingly, “yes”! Cobb is proving that Denver is a Midwest fashion hub that should no longer be overlooked, and is announcing the first-annual Denver’s Fashion Week, to be held on October 8 through 11, 2009, at Denver’s Civic Center Park.

Denver’s Fashion Week showcases independent fashion in the Rocky Mountain region.  This inaugural event will highlight Spring/Summer 2010 collections in October 2009. The week opens with a wholesale market, bringing together the region’s newest independent designers and some of Colorado’s eminent and cutting-edge boutiques and retail outlets on October 8.  Beginning October 9, evening events will feature multimedia runway presentations of various fashion genres, and the week caps off with a sample sale featuring local designers and artisans on October 11.

Applications for fashion designer participants are now being accepted for either the runway shows/markets or markets only.  Click here to download the application.
