The fabulous and fresh designs of Johanna Christine

by Juliana Echavarria, Fashion Correspondent

Johanna Christine, only in Denver for three months, is the newest addition to Denver’s fashion scene.  A Minneapolis native who graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in fashion design and fashion merchandising, Johanna has decided to put down roots in Denver,  and Denver Fashion Beat could not be more excited about this talented designer’s decision to stick around and continue to delight us with her beautiful designs. Throughout her numerous travels in Europe, Johanna finds inspirations from diverse fascinating European cultures to create her collections.

Her designs exquisitely accentuate the female silhouette and are refreshingly characterized by fabulous animal prints, bright greens, blues, pinks, and reds, and delicate floral fabrics that seamlessly follow the shape of the female body. Denver fashionistas can find a variety of trendy cocktail dresses – a few that are vintage inspired – a large array of separates such as skirts, tanks and halters, high-waisted pants and a rare selection of custom-made swimsuits distinguished by their unique, cut-out details.

The Johanna Christine client is a confident woman who loves dressing up and going out and for whom presenting herself in a bold and unique way is an everyday priority. Her clients are also women who are in the process of finding their perfect bridal and bridesmaid dresses for their wedding day. Johanna reacts to each bride’s needs by attending to every detail during the creation of the perfect piece. Amazingly, for this level of detail, Johanna Christine’s wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses begin at only $300.

In the near future, Johanna hopes to offer her designs in many boutiques and department stores nationwide.  She continues to stay focused on building brand awareness through the company’s presence on multiple local fashion shows and expanding her client base while preserving an effective skillful manufacturing process. Johanna is putting the final touches on her “fun and flirty” Fall 2009 collection, so if you are a confident, fashionable woman that presents yourself in a sophisticated way, make sure to check out Johanna Christine’s designs.
