So you finally decided that your apparel shouldn’t consist solely of hoodies and flip-flops. But where do you start? Looking at GQ sometimes makes it all the more confusing. Thankfully, there is Soul Haus.
Soul Haus Menswear offers the top trends from all around the world…the clothing that makes women stop dead mid-sentence and stare. Believe us. This incomparable menswear store is the only one with the most classic looks, with merchandise that no one else offers anywhere in Denver.
This urban contemporary men’s store is affordable and known for carrying clothing of good quality. Ten years ago, owner Stephanie Shearer saw a need when men would regularly come in looking for clothing. Shearer never re-orders merchandise and only order six pieces of each style, and in this way she assures her customers a look as original as they each are. The Soul Haus staff loves helping customers and building relationships with them, and more than anything they like when their customer leaves happy!
This printed green shirt says summer is coming, with its special print with touches of fuchsia and lime. The slacks look so dressy but they are comfortable enough for any casual occasion during the day. The woven fedora hat gives you a laid back look and is always a hot accessory for guys. It says a lot about your sense of style.
Shirt by Johnny Max made of 100% cotton $46.00, Military green pants by Giorginni made of linen $42.00.
Real men DO accessorize tastefully. This blue shirt with embroidered cuffs and velvet flocking detail is such a classy garment. It is important to add little touches, like for example this black tie with screen printed shark gills…so masculine! This silver watch with black face works with any ensemble, and Soul Haus carries some of the best watches I have ever seen for men at one store. These black slacks are a must for every man’s wardrobe. The black belt with rectangular buckle is so modern for work, too. Stick with a dark tie to anchor your summer look, and match your belt and shoes. Don’t forget to play with the colors, but there’s no need to make it complicated. You can never go wrong wearing an outfit like this.
Cotton shirt with velvet flocking by 191 Unlimited $64.00, Giorginni black cotton slacks $42.00, screenprint tie $38.00, watch by Android $140.00, leather belt by Brave $64.00.
How about dressing down with dressed-up pieces? Try this white tuxedo shirt with a grey distressed floral design for something totally new and eye catching. White never fails, so mixed it up with a V-neck vest that creates the perfect form and helps you look your best. It’s simple but dressed and ready to go out. The dark blue jeans are so stylish! Add the black and silver bracelet and ring and you are prepared for a wild night ahead.
Cotton shirt by Straight Faded $52.00, vest from Straight Faded $38.00, slacks by X-RAY $110.00, stainless steel ring $23.00, bracelet $38.00, belt $35.00.
About this week’s model: This is Damon Paulson’s first try at modeling, and he loves it. We think he’s a natural! This 20-year old Denver native is studying to be an air traffic controller at Metropolitan State College of Denver, and he expects to graduate within two years. Do you think his future fellow controllers will be spending more time looking at him or at the runways? We sure hope it’s the runways!
Soul Haus is open Mondays to Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They’re located at 226 east 13th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203 (click here for map). 303 830-7685.
