Araceli’s Fashion Picks: Moroccan Mystique from Unique Imports

Looking for something a little outside the norm?  Think warm Casablanca nights and vast deserts of sand.  Think of the heady scents of exotic spices and perfumes.  Think Morocco!

This week I bring you fresh and beautiful cotton blouses all the way from Morocco by way of Denver boutique Unique Imports.   Unique sells  brand-name clothing, jewelry and accessories, from all over Europe and of course Morocco.  The blouses I found at this great boutique make any woman look fabulous for any occasion and they’re comfortable for this coming spring. I found some just for you in brilliant colors such as a dazzling white, hot pink and electric blue. Not only are these blouses comfortable and airy, but they also have beautiful embroidery around the neck and the sleeves, and they look fantastic with just about ANYTHING!  I’ve put together a few looks here with True Religion jeans, also available from Unique Imports.

I will start with my casual look. This hot pink tunic looks beautiful against any skin tone and is flattering for any figure.  I’m wearing it belted with jeans in this picture, but you really could wear it loose like a tunic with tights and stilettos or a shimmering pair of metallic gladiator sandals.  The nice thing is that the beautiful embroidery relieves you of having to worry about too much jewelry (but of course you could glam it up with lots of pieces if you want!).  You could even take it on vacation with you and use it as a beach coverup over a swimsuit.  Pink blouse- $30 True Religion Jeans- $85.

For a cute hang-out look, I’m wearing an aqua blue blouse with matching aqua blue embroidery, with dark blue True Religion jeans.  It has a sexy but modest plunging neckline with pretty dolman sleeves.  A touch of black accessories makes it chic, like the black leather belt I’m wearing around my waist. Again, you could wear this unbelted if you wanted.  This outfit is versatile, moving from playtime to dinner, and you don’t have to fuss with button-ups or restricting jackets….just accesorize and go!  Blue blouse, $25.

Sexy doesn’t always mean revealing, and if you want to be more modest for a date or dinner, be glamorous without having to show a lot. I love the bold embroidered detail, mandarin collar and plunging front that you can adjust for your level of sexiness by undoing an extra button to show as much skin as you want.  Pair this, untucked, with skinny jeans and heels and you have a casually sexy. You don’t need to accessorize much because the beautiful detail is enough to attract attention. But don’t be afraid to be imaginative.
