Sometimes a girl just needs to splurge on the right couture piece to set everything else off. This week I bring you Delish Demure, a Greenwood Village boutique that carries some of the most luxurious pieces you could ever have in your wardrobe.
What’s special about Delish Demure is that it’s not just a couture boutique; it’s also a place to get great stylist services to look your best. Delish Demure offers personal shopper services, as well as wardrobe design consultations. Clients can get advice on the best styles for their body type, as well as advice on how to coordinate a favorite piece with new items. What a great way to breathe new life into what you already have! These consultations include your very own “lookbook” documenting all the fashionable outfits and variations that are put together for you. This is a spectacular way to pamper yourself while stretching out your wardrobe dollar…I love it!
The first of three looks that I’ve put together for you this week is this Ted Baker ensemble. This navy and blue striped dress is 100% silk. This sleek dress shows off your shape, with a flattering v-neckline that shows off a great piece of jewelry, like maybe a really simple plum and gold necklace like the one I’m wearing. It has a twisted front detail that embraces your chest and drapes to the waist. You know that you will always need a lightweight sweater, especially here in Colorado.
I think the dress looks fantastic with the matching wrap-around sweater made out of angora and silk, also by Ted Baker. It’s versatile, giving you the choice to wear it untied in the front or wrapped and tied in the back, like I’ve done in the next photo. Dress $340.00, Sweater $194.00, Necklace $240.00
Next is this great menswear-inspired office look capped off by this Fashionista linen blend ivory jacket. The 100% navy silk blue ruffled blouse from Walter adds a touch of classic femininity. Pair up the look with these tan stretch high-comfort trousers from Fabrizio Gianni. The only accessory you will really need is a hobo bag like this one from Betsey Johnson. This taupe leather bag with pom pom tassel and slouchy shape is the right final detail to pull the whole look together. Jacket$350.00 Blouse$125.00 Trousers$200.00 Bag$365.00
I absolutely fell in love with this evening look! This is a silk blend dress from Maria Bianca Nero. In black and chartreuse with v-neckline, it’s masterfully punctuated by the multicolored beaded belt. The asymmetrical, loose pleats in the skirt draw the eye to the right side of the dress. Just for fun, I’ve capped it off with this antique feather hairpiece from 1920’s. Dress $415.00. Feather hairpiece $130.00.
Delish Demure is open Mondays through Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. , Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They’re located at 8000 E. Belleview Ave. #D10 in Greenwood Village (click here for a map). Phone303-740-1100. www.delishdemure.com
