New Style Feature: Araceli’s Denver Fashion Picks

We’re so excited to start this new feature from our very own fashion goddess, Araceli Lerma, Denver Fashion Beat’s Style Correspondent (pictured at left). Araceli’s Denver Fashion Picks will become a regular, weekly feature that will show all you fashionistas out there what Denver has to offer…which we think is A LOT!

The fabulous Araceli Lerma

Araceli (pronounced like “ar-a-SELLY”) lives here in Denver and studies fashion and does modeling for local shows and is known for being a trendsetter wherever she goes. If you’re involved in the local fashion scene, you’ve seen her.  Additionally, she has just launched a career as a fashion merchandising consultant for local businesses, for shop windows or photo shoots.  You can reach Araceli at araceli@dfbeat.com.

Araceli has chosen to set her sights on Denver’s own Sucré Boutique in LoDo.  Here are her picks for the week:

Sucré Boutique, at 1444 Larimer in LoDo, has a wide assortment of looks for the truly fashion-conscious person that knows their brands and wants to find them without traveling to New York or Los Angeles.  I found lots of great looks at this little gem of a boutique, from casual to work to evening wear.

For a fun and flirty casual look perfect for meeting friends for coffee or going shopping, here is The casual look is a

A daytime look

dijon cowl neck sweater by French Connection originally  $128 and on sale for $108.  It is shown with James Jeans that were originally  $179 and on sale for $149.  Also shown with is are the studded CC Skye Clutch $300 and a vintage brooch bracelet that is $75.

Who says a career look has to be dull?  This black dress is Development by Erica Davies.  It was $374 and is now $294.  Both metal and leather belts shown with it are $75. The purse shown is the black Quilted Tote by Rebecca Minkoff and is $583.

We last saw this spectacular dress at the recent Sucré fashion show at 24K/Monark, and don’t miss the shot of Sucré owner Marissa Peden rocking the black version.  The blue dress is Black Halo Ruffle Sleeve Keyhole Dress in Cobalt, and it’s a figure-hugging creation that also miraculously accentuates what you want and not what you don’t.  It’s an incredibly sophisticated look that could also go from day to evening if worn by the right fashionita.  It was originally $330 and is on sale for $280.  The lion necklace is Vintage by Frisk and is $99.00.  Don’t miss out on this fabulous look at such an incredible price.  We’re so excited to be on the sidelines to watch Sucré make such a big splash in the Mile High City.  Go Marissa!

A stunning evening look

All these looks, plus a whole lot more, can be seen at Sucré Boutique, 1444 Larimer in Denver.  They are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.  They are closed Mondays.  303 825 1945 or marissa@sucredenver.com.
